Membership

Membership of the Weed Science Society of Bangladesh is open to scientists, teachers, students and professionals working in weed science and allied disciplines, in Bangladesh and abroad.

What members receive

• The Bangladesh Journal of Weed Science at the member rate.
• Reduced registration at the society’s conventions, symposia and international conferences.
• The right to attend and vote at the annual general meeting.
• Eligibility to stand for election to the Executive Committee.
• Consideration for the WSSB Award.

Classes of membership

The society admits life members and annual members. Life membership is a single payment; annual membership is renewed each year. Confirm the current fees with the Treasurer and enter them here.

How to apply

1. Download and complete the membership application form.
2. Pay the membership fee to the society’s account and keep the deposit slip or transaction number.
3. Send the completed form, a passport photograph and proof of payment to the General Secretary.
4. The application is placed before the Executive Committee. Approved members are added to the directory and issued a membership number.
